Fashion Speaks 6-26-13 Press Release

FIRST ANNUAL FASHION SPEAKS EVENT WILL LEAVE NO RIGHT BRAIN BEHIND
Project Ethos Private Label, Slater Model Management, and Sebastian Professional come together in the name of creativity in education

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 24, 2013) – In the spirit of giving, Project Ethos, Slater Model Management, Always Awake and Sebastian Professional will host “Fashion Speaks“ benefiting No Right Brain Left Behind on Wednesday June 26th, 2013 at Emerson Theatre (7080 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028). The event will feature a rare display of talent from the roster of Slater models, styled with a selection of L.A.’s best in fashion from 7:30pm to 10:30pm.

“Fashion Speaks is about showcasing high fashion and giving back. We want to show the world that fashion and style are not just about how you look on the outside, but also the character within us. This is the softer side of fashion that the world doesn’t often see. Fashion Speaks has been a dream of mine for years. It’s an honor to work with a team that believes and shares these values with me, bringing this project to life.” - Joshua Washington, Creative Director of Fashion Speaks

Runway shows will take place at 8:30pm and 9:30pm showcasing the designs of Traver Rains (T. Rains), Maor Luz (Maor Apparel), Michael Kuluva (Tumbler and Tipsy), and Maggie Berry. The night will feature sounds by DJ Aaron Colbert.

Donations will be accepted at the event, and online at http://www.creativevisions.org/get-involved/cap/no-right-brain-left-behind

As stated by the founders of No Right Brain Left Behind: “Creativity is the #1 leadership trait of the future. And nowhere is creativity more important than in today’s classrooms. But that’s where it’s lacking the most. Teachers can’t prepare kids for 21st century problem-solving while working in a 19th century school system. We need to re-instill the creativity that education has lost.”

Project Ethos Private Label is an extension of Project Ethos, the premier outlet for fashion, music, art, and lifestyle brands. Private Label focuses on special event production, marketing and consulting.

Brianne Bear, Executive VP of Public Relations for Project Ethos PR explains, “It’s only logical, we work with some of the most diverse and coveted contacts in the industry so why not put them all in one room together?”

Networking Nights are dedicated to providing a valuable experience with unique elements added to the mix. Among them include brief speaker presentations, digital billboards where entrepreneurs can advertise their business at no cost inside the event, streamline credentials creating an easy process to identify those attending and Project Ethos Public Relations team members on hand facilitating relationships.
