Rollasole

Matt Horan won the hearts of women everywhere who yearned for instant relief from the aching pain of wearing heels all day when he developed and patented the unique roll-up shoe. Now Rollasole shoes, founded in 2008, are ‘rolled’ out on many occasions. From the dance floor to the office at work, women can feel comfortable wherever they are. Rollasoles are designed to fit neatly into small, compact areas such as a handbag or desk. Not only are Rollasoles comfortable, they are also exceptionally stylish. Rollasole now spans across the UK, Australia and the USA! Spotted in their metallic Rollasoles at the Golden Globes, ‘A-listers’, Hayden Panettiere and Heidi Klum have endorsed in Horan’s rather brilliant creation of the Rollasole shoe. They have received mentions in ABC News, Glamour Magazine, and by notorious blogger Perez Hilton. Now expanding even more with Rolla Vending, Rollasole takes its place in Las Vegas and Los Angeles nightclubs. Rollasole vending machines are easy access for women leaving the club after a night of dancing in their stilettos! Rolla-HQ is constantly looking to roll out new designs to ensure that Rollasole remains an essential accessory that women everywhere should never leave home without.

Kristen Dorsey

Kristen Dorsey first started creating jewelry while studying at Tufts University and earning her degree in American studies with a concentration in Native American studies. After graduating she proceeded to perfect her techniques at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA. In her opinion, jewelry is not just something used to complete an outfit. She believes, “Jewelry is a sacred narrative. It captures a moment of significance for the wearer. A piece can mark important transitions in a life, it symbolizes relationships with one another, with one’s community, with one’s cultural identity, and with one’s spirituality.”

Kristen designs her jewelry as a way to connect herself to her Chickasaw ancestry. She creates all of her pieces using traditional materials and methods. Her inspirations include the Chickasaw and other Native American visual traditions, the beauty of the California Coast, and her belief that culture can be lost but art can be used as an important reminder. Her goal is “to create timeless jewelry which is rooted within tradition while maintaining a contemporary edge and elegance.” In 2012, the stunning Gifty Ofori, Miss Universe Ghana, wowed the crowd as she walked the stage at the Miss Universe Pageant in Las Vegas, styled in Kristen Dorsey one-of-a-kind jewelry. KDD is currently sold at Newport Colony Company, Maria De La Luz Showroom, Precious Metal Arts, Chickasaw Cultural Center, Chickasaw Nation Bricktown Tourism Center, The Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center and www.beyondbuckskinboutique.com.
