Project Ethos Merges Creative Elements In Style at LA Fashion Week
Fashion, Music, Art, Theatre and Dance, showcased to Industry and Consumer


LOS ANGELES, CA (March 19, 2014) – Project Ethos, presented by Scion during LA Fashion Week brought together over 1,500 attendees to witness both the local and international collaboration of fashion, music and art. Additional partners include French Tuesdays, Jin & Quinn, Sebastian Professional, Midori, Always Awake, Java Monster, Sole Society, TNT Agency, Elite Fashion Academy LA, Shop Ethos, and media partner LA Canvas. The event was hosted by Kristian Weathers, correspondent for Fashion News Live.

The opening fashion showcase began with a mix of leather and lace from Marialia followed by Wood Underwear who brought the heat with their line of men’s eco friendly underwear.  Bali based Sports Illustrated featured designer Indah Clothing brought sexy swim and beachy babes to the stage followed by New York based designer Layana Aguilar who ended the first fashion show in style with structured sophistication and red carpet ready dresses.

The second fashion show brought designers Pakistan born Aleena Khan whose debut collection featured an array of peacock tones, Maor Luz and his street chic ready to wear line, Rochelle Carino’s flirty and fun collection of metallic and feather accented pieces, and haute couture designer David Tupaz from Las Vegas whose hand sewn creations stunned.

The art gallery, located in Bardot and presented by Midori, the original melon liqueur, featured live performances from Carlton and Mosco Rosco, visual installations from Nathan Warner, Thomas Scherer, Hero, Ashley Mistriel, Alex Constable, Daniel Monteavaro, Greg Auerbach, Susanne Melanie Berry, Fawn Rogers, and child prodigy Charles Gitnick. Neha Panchal featured a live henna display while 3-D geod artist Paige Smith mastered a one of a kind piece in the art gallery. Vendors included Tanari Jewelry – made with intention, BuzzBar, Lucky Girl Fortunes, Uber, and Gardein.

The events growing fan base brought out notable names such as NBA sportscaster John Salley, Scheana Marie and Kristen Doute of Vanderpump Rules, True Blood’s Natasha Alam, Dan Feuerriegel from Spartacus, Anthony Pazos, star of LA Hair, and many more.

Brooklyn based duo Denitia and Sene rocked out to a packed house, followed by an encore fashion show by Wood Underwear, Indah Clothing, and Aleena Khan. DJ sets by Aaron Colbert took the party until 2am while artist Moncho1929 created a custom piece live on stage.
